How an automatic watch works: what makes it tick?

The first watches, which were mechanical, had to be wound regularly; otherwise, they would stop, plunging their owners into utter despair as they were unable to answer that fundamental question: What time is it? Discover everything there is to know about automatic watches in this article.

But who makes the 1955? And all other Kelton watches, for that matter. We went to the Manufacture Générale Horlogère in Lectoure (Gers) to take a closer look at the work of our watchmaker, Monsieur Antoine. We took the opportunity to shoot a short film with Lucas Bolea, the director, which will certainly enlighten you on the underwater origins of this 1955 Kelton as well as its manufacture.
