In the 1960s, during a dinner in Saint-Tropez, Gunter Sachs—a millionaire playboy and Brigitte Bardot’s husband -nd Michel Faure discussed creating a new fashion brand. Françoise Sagan—who was also there—asked curiously, “What’s all this MicMac business?” And so MicMac St. Tropez was born.
Gunter and Michel opened their first boutique on the port of Saint-Tropez; it was an instant success, with people from all over the world stopping by MicMac.
