Carbon is the atom of life, present in all living beings, from the smallest blade of grass to the largest (marine) mammals; it is the basis for the construction of living molecules.
Tech:
Forged carbon is a recyclable and environmentally friendly composite material made from carbon fibers and epoxy resin, manufactured using FIP (Forming in Place) technology.
Pieces of carbon fiber are placed in a mold and impregnated with resin. The mold is then cured in an autoclave at high pressure and high temperature. The result is a material with a unique marbled pattern, due to the random distribution of carbon fibers.
Density / Resistance
Forged carbon is 5 times lighter than steel and 3 to 4 times lighter than titanium, and very resistant*. These properties make it one of the preferred materials in industries such as aerospace and automotive.
